Much like our platform bed, the Sands Mulholland frame bed is a welcome alternative to traditional beds, utterly devoid of superfluous ornamentation, yet equally elegant in its spare use of forms.
The frame bed uses solid hardwood slats on hardwood rails recessed inside the frame to support the mattress without the aid of a box spring for a low profile that’s both practical and pleasing to the eye.
The frame itself is solid hardwood and sits atop polished aluminum legs each adjustable to slightly over 1/4 inch to compensate for less than level floors. No squeaks, no creaks, no shifting from side to side – this is a sturdy, no-nonsense bed that’s as comfortable as it it good looking.
