The table top incorporates a shallow drawer, perfect for things like candles and coasters, and utilizes a "kicker" mechanism. Simply push the drawer front gently inward and it automatically ejects, enabling you to pull it open further. When closed, the drawer exudes an audible "click", re-engaging the kicker.
The drawer, constructed using hand-cut dovetails with solid poplar sides and back, features a custom grooved solid walnut front, visually mirroring the slat portion below, where one can store their favourite books, magazines, etc.
